Measure static and dynamic features of mechanic and electro-hydraulic servo valves.
The test rig is used to measure static and dynamic features of mechanic and electro-hydraulic servo valves. The frequency response is measured from the setpoint to the flow rate as well as the flow rate signal function and the pressure signal function. All measurements can be made in a wide temperature range. The determination of the dynamic volume flow occurs by an lightweight, frictionless volumetric flask, which allows the determination of speed and therefore also the volume. The frequency response measurement works with a correlation method that is particularly robust against signal interference and non-linearities of the output signal. The frequency can be measured within a range of 5 to 500 Hz. Hysteresis, threshold, symmetry, linearity and leakage can be determined from the measurements of the signal functions.
The test sequences are pre-configured, run completely automatically including the acquisition and evaluation of the measuring data and are operated and controlled via an industrial PC. The test rig is fully transportable.
